Studio building

In 2005, this former brewery was the first studio building ever to be managed by MORPHO. As the building was sold in 2020 and is currently awaiting massive renovations, the new owner engaged local initiatives to temporarily occupy the vacant spaces while also adding value to the neighborhood.

In collaboration with music center Trix, MORPHO reopened the studios on Hertstraat and launched De Brouwerij (The Brewery), an initiative aimed at the need for working spaces for musicians and artists working with sound. Over the course of 18 months, De Brouwerij provides space for experimentation, production and personal artistic development to a variety of artists and musicians.
