Ot Lemmens

Resident

Ot Lemmens has a practice intersecting in design, art, coding and queer space organising. They work through drawing, digital collage, textile, code, installation and events, while welcoming collectivity and queerness through open source, Do-It-Yourself and Do-It-Together principals. During their residency they initiate a project which touches upon the complexities of ‘community’, specifically in the context of the queer scene. With conversations and encounters as their vehicle, they will explore the edges of this common ground.

Ot Lemmens (NL) is based in Brussels, where they take part in the collectives Mothers & Daughters, Naast Monique and La +32 organising queer spaces and events. They studied graphic design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and front-end development in Brussels. They have been commissioned by Marwan, Constant, Get Lost - art route, amongst others.
