Jim Camper’s artistic practice forms a trajectory that evokes historical-cultural moments. Starting from in depth-research, Jim Campers questions ‘the Counterculture’ with recurring topics such as “voluntary exile”, “social anxiety”, and “distorting perception through psychedelic experiences”. By interweaving images, text, references and signifié a larger narrative is created.

Jim Campers graduated in 2013 with a Masters in Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Belgium.
