The residency house

MORPHO is located behind the Zoo and the Central Station, in the heart of Antwerp. The residency building is a recently renovated twentieth-century townhouse that originally belonged to the director of the De Beukelaer biscuit factory (now demolished). It is at the same time a living space, workplace and meeting place.

The ground floor contains a shared living room and kitchen, as well as the residency library. The upper floors consist of three bedrooms, a shared bathroom for international residents and the team's office. The residents' studios are housed in the adjacent former Dominican monastery, including the monastery garden which we share with our partner Kunsthal Extra City.
